132 Boost Timer Settings
To cancel the remote standby duration timer, touch the Start or Stop buttons.
10.18 Boost Timer Settings
To increase the temperatures in the mold for a specified period of time, set the boost timers
related with each boost function. When the system enters Boost, the timer starts. When the
timer completes, the temperatures decrease back to the setpoint.
10.18.1 Set the Manual Boost Duration Timer
Use the Manual Boost Duration Timer to set a duration period for the zones to heat up to the
manual boost setpoint limit.
To set the Manual Boost Duration Timer, do the steps that follow:
1. On the System Setup screen, touch the Heats Setup tab and then touch the Control
Page 1 tab.
2. Touch the Manual Boost Duration Timer field that is below Manual Standby and Boost.
3. Enter the time requirement in this format: HHMMSS.
4. Touch the Accept button.
10.18.2 Set the Remote Boost Duration Timer
The input option settings make the decision how the system reacts when it receives the
remote boost input.
NOTE: If remote boost is not installed on the system, only the Manual Boost Duration Timer
field is shown on the screen.
