b. In this case we have a SAS1064E SAS adapter with the local hard disks and a
SAS1064 SAS adapter with the external storage. Select the SAS adapter where the
local hard disks are connected (SAS1064E) adapter. Alter the boot order as shown in
Figure 20-7 by pressing Insert / Delete keys on your keyboard. The PCI Slot should
have the lowest number.

򐂰 Record the SAS Expansion Card(SAS1064) ID. The SAS ID is the unique address that
identifies each device port. We need this address to map the logical drive to this specific
server. It is possible to find it in the SAS adapter BIOS (Figure 20-7) by selecting the
adapter and pressing ENTER. It is also possible to get find the SAS ID from the
bladecenter AMM using the below procedure:
a. In the AMM console, click on Hardware VPD as shown in Figure 20-8
