2.2 Bluetooth HID Mode
Bluetooth HID mode is not the default mode. To enter this mode, please read the barcode Enter
setup, Bluetooth HID Modeand Exit with save.
Bluetooth HID Mode
If you do not pair the P7 with any device via Bluetooth, after switching to Bluetooth HID mode,
the P7 will enter into Bluetooth broadcasting mode automatically and the blue LED indicator
flashes. Then you can search the Bluetooth of P7 and get it paired on your phone/computer. The
P7 will respond with three chord sounds (from high to low), which indicates the successful pairing.
After that, you can open a text on the connected computer or phone and move the cursor the
blank area on the text file, and the barcode data would be output there after a scan. Note: The
P7 will connect with the previous paired device automatically if you have done the pairing before.
If you want to connect the P7 with other device, please read the barcode " Enter setup" and "Pair
one or more scanners with one USB adapter", the P7 will enter into Bluetooth broadcasting mode,
then you can get the P7 paired on your phone/computer.
If the Bluetooth of P7 disconnected, long press the trigger for 5s to enable the Bluetooth of P7
again, and then you can search the P7 on the phone/computer and pair it again without
repeating the previous setting steps.
Note: If you have done the pairing with P7 previously, please remove the paring history of the
same P7 in the list of host device.

Under Bluetooth HID mode, the phone will hide its virtual keyboard after connected with P7.
If you are using an iOS device, just long press the trigger for 1s to pop out the virtual keyboard
during the scanning process. Long press the trigger for 1s again to hide the virtual keyboard. As
shown below:
