Remove the fan (MD500T45G
(B)
to MD500T160G)
(1) Disconnect the fan cable
from the drive (top view).
(2) Remove the four
screws from the drive.
(3) Remove the fan and fan cover from the drive.

Install the fan (MD500T45G
(B)
to MD500T160G)
(1) Install the fan in reverse order. Pay attention to the correct air ow direction.
(2) Install the fan cover and fan into the drive and ensure that the four mounting pins are aligned, as shown by
imaginary lines in Figure
③
.
(3) Keep air ow direction upward.
