6) AC Power on, Re-start system & load BIOS default value.
4.1.1.2. Recovery Mode
A BIOS recovery can be accomplished from one of the following devices: an USB
Disk-On-Key/CD-ROM, an ATAPI CD-ROM/DVD. The recovery media must include the BIOS image
file, XXXXXXX.ROM in the root directory.
Enter recovery mode:
Insert the recovery jumper (J22-C)
The recovery mode procedure is as follows:
I. Insert or plug-in the recovery media with the XXXXXXXX.ROM file.
II. Power on system and wait for system boot BIOS setup menu.
III. Choose option [Proceed with flash updates].
4.1.1.3. Update ME FW with the whole image file by AMI Aptio Flash Utility:
I. Copy AFUDOS.EXE, FBB.BAT and XXXXXXXX.BIN to bootable storage.
II. Plug the bootable storage (ex :USB disk) and boot into dos prompt (no Himem).
III. Run FBB.BAT 2(AFUDOS XXXXXXXX.BIN /P /B /N /X /ME)
IV. After flash programming is done, turn off SUT and then power on the system
IV.1.1.1. Update ME FW with the whole image file by Intel ME update Utility:
I. Insert the flash security jumper
II. Copy spsFPT.EXE, FBB.BAT, fparts.txt and XXXXXXXX.BIN to bootable storage.
III. Power on system
IV. Wait for system boot DOS
V. Run FBB.BAT 5(spsFPT -f XXXXXXXX.bin -address 0x00)
VI. After flash programming is done, turn off SUT, remove flash security jumper, power on the system
