2.5 Machine Disassembly
2.5.1 Bench Type
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before starting the disassembly work.
Top Cover Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove the platter.
2. Carefully turn the scale upside down.

3. Remove the following fasteners that secure the top cover (see Figure 2-6):
• four machine screws
• one Allen head hex bolt (8 mm)
4. Remove the two machine screws securing the front printer cover. See Figure 2-6.
5. Carefully turn the scale right side up.
6. Open the right side cover. See Figure 2-7.
