Switch Special Instrucons
EX2300-C You must install the EX2300-C in a restricted-access locaon and ensure that the chassis is
always properly grounded. The EX2300-C has a two-hole protecve grounding terminal
provided on the chassis. We recommend that you use this protecve grounding terminal as
the preferred method for grounding the chassis regardless of the power supply
conguraon. However, if addional grounding methods are available, you can also use
those methods. For example, you can use the grounding wire in the AC power cord or use
the grounding terminal or lug on a DC power supply. This tested system meets or exceeds
all applicable EMC regulatory requirements with the two-hole protecve grounding
terminal.
EX3200 and
EX4200
Some early variants of EX3200 and EX4200 switches for which the Juniper Networks
model number on the label next to the protecve earthing terminal is from 750-021

through 750-030
