2. More than 30 minutes warm-up time is required after turning on the
E4990A.
3. Make the correct accessory selection in accordance with Selecting
Accessories for Measurement.
4. Press Cal > Adapter > 4TP 1m for 16048G or 4TP 2m for 16048H.
5. Press Cal > Adapter Setup.
6. Connect the LCUR and LPOT terminals on the 16048G or 16048H to
the HPOT and HCUR terminals of the 100 Ω Resister (furnished with
the E4990A, Part Number: E4990-61001). Other terminals should
remain open.
7. Click Phase to start the phase compensation data measurement.
When the phase compensation data measurement is completed, the
softkey label changes to Phase [Done].
8. Click Save Phase.
9. Connect the LCUR, LPOT, HPOT, and HCUR terminals on the 16048G or
16048H to the LCUR, LPOT, HPOT and HCUR terminals of the 100 Ω
Resister.
