Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)

The BCW is designed to alert the
driver if a vehicle is detected by the
radar.
First stage alert
If a vehicle is detected within the
boundary of the system, a warning
light will illuminate on the outer side
view mirror and the head up display
(if equipped).
If the detected vehicle is no longer
w
i
thin the blind spot area, the
warning will turn off according to
the driving conditions of the vehicle.
Second stage alert

A warning chime to alert the driver

1. A vehicle has been detected in the

ind spot area by the radar sys

tem AND.
2. The turn signal is applied (same
side a
s where the vehicle is being
detected).
When this alert is activated, the
wa
rn
ing light on the outer side view
mirror and the head up display (if
equipped) will also blink. And a
warning chime will sound.
