Driver Attention Warning (DAW)
Taking a break
The "Consider taking a break" mes
-
sage appears on the LCD display and
a warning sounds suggest that the
driver take a break when the driver's
attention level is below 1.
The Driver Attention Warning sys
-
tem will not suggest a break, when
the total driving time is shorter than
10 minutes.
When other warnings such as the
seat belt warning sound are in oper
-
ation, they override the DAW alarm
-
ing system and DAW warnings may
not occur.
Resetting the Driver Attention
Warning system
The last break time is set to 00:00
and the driver's attention level is set
to 5 (very attentive) when the driver
resets the Driver Attention Warning
system.

䳜 The vehicle is turned OFF.
䳜 The driver unfastens the seat belt

nd then opens the driver's door
in stop.
䳜 Th
e vehicle is parked for more
than 10 minutes.

restarts driving.
