Driving your vehicle Cruise Control (CC)
or on slippery (rainy, icy or snow-
covered) or winding roads or over

䳜 Pay particular attention to the
driving conditions whenever using
Cruise Control.
During normal cruise control opera

tion, when the SET- switch is acti

vated or reactivated after applying
the brakes, Cruise Control will ener
-
gize after approximately 3 seconds.
This delay is normal.
To activate cruise control, depress
the brake pedal at least once after
turning the ignition switch or
ENGINE START/STOP button to the
ON position or starting the engine.
Misuse of Cruise Control
Do not use Cruise Control if the
traffic situation does not allow you
to drive safely at a constant speed
and with sufficient distance to the
vehicle in front.
Cruise Control switch
䳜 : Turns Cruise Control on or off.
䳜 : Cancel or resume Cruise Con
-
trol.
䳜 +: Increases Cruise Control speed.
䳜 -: Decreases Cruise Control speed.
Setting Cruise Control speed
1. Accelerate to the desired speed,
and press the button. The
cruise indicator and the cruise set
speed will illuminate on the
instrument cluster.
The Cruise Control speed must be
more than approximately 20 mph
(30km/h).
