1-4.4 Detector Bases
Two detector bases are available.
1-4.4.1 FLANGED DETECTOR BASE, MODEL 6SB
The Model 6SB Detector Base is used in applications where the detector's installed
appearance is a primary consideration. This base mounts to standard 3-, 3½-,
and 4-inch electrical boxes.

1-4.4.2 FLANGELESS DETECTOR BASE, MODEL 4SB
The Model 4SB Detector Base is used in underfloor applications, or in applications
where the detector’s installed appearance is not a primary consideration. This
base mounts to standard 3- or 3½-inch electrical boxes.

1-4.5 Detector Base Adapter, Model MA-002
The Model MA-002 Detector Base Adapter allows the low-profile SmartOne detectors to
be retrofitted into the older-style SmartOne detector base, P/N 70-400000-001.
