26 Set the belt tensioning device gas spring
switch (*) to normal operation.
27 Activate one of the belt slack switches
by using cable
tie. T
est both switches
individually.
Alternative method:
1. Press the slack switches against the
belts.
2. Put a small screwdriver to the hole on
the sid
e of the slack switch bracket.
NOTE! Use the original lockin
g pin if
available for the locking.
28 Go to the landing. See steps 15 – 18.
29 Check that the belt slack switch
prevents th
e elevator from moving. See
steps 19 – 23.
The elevator car must not
move.
30 Go to the pit.

31 Remove cable tie from the belt slack
switch. I

used the alternative
method, then remove the screwdriver or
locking pin.
