Open the maintenance access panel.
Reset the pit safety device and Shaft Access Monitor (SAM), if applicable.
1.
Switch on the Recall Drive Feature (RDF). (POS 270.)
2. Press lever in the maintenance access panel down.
3. If the elevator is equipped with SAM, reset it by p
ressing simultaneously RDF RUN
270:RB + SAM reset 141:P button in maintenance access panel for at least 5 seconds,
until the SAM reset signal sounds
4. Drive the elevator car upwards by using Recall Drive F
eature (RDF). At the same time
press simultaneously RDF buttons 270:UP, 270:RB and 134:S for at maximum of 3
seconds to reset the pit safety device.
CAUTION! Do not press the
buttons any longer than 3 seconds to avoid damaging the coil
of the reset device.
5. Switch off the Recall Drive Feature (RDF). (POS 270.)
