22 Reset the shaft access monitor (SAM)
by using the reset button in MAP.
Press simultaneously RDF RUN 270:RB
+ SAM reset 141:P button for at least 5
seconds, until the SAM reset signal
sounds
23 Give car call by using LCEUI. The elevator should move.
24 Switch on the RDF (270).
25 Drive the elevator car on RDF so that
you have access to
the car roof.
26 Open the landing door by using the
emergency openin
g key.
27 Fill in the maintenance logbook while
stand
ing at landing.
(Maintenance logbook of the elevator is
stored in a rack on
the car roof.).
All test results shall be copied from
notebook to logboo
k. Logbook signed
and stored in its rack.
28 Close the landing door and check that it
is mechanically locked.
29 Go
to MAP floor.
Open the MAP.
30 Reset Shaft Access Monitor (SAM), if
applicable.
Refer
to APPENDIX B.
31 Switch off the RDF (270).
32 Return the elevator back into service.
Close and lock the MAP.
