16 Place the buffer to upright position.
Try to drive the elevator on inspection
drive.
The elevator must NOT move.
17 Remove the other car top buffer from
the storage position. T

18 Place the buffer to upright position.
Try to drive the elevator on inspection
drive.
The elevator should move.
19 Place the buffers to storage position.
20 Go to the landing. 1. Slowly open the landing door so that
no one step
s in from the landing
thinking that the elevator car has
arrived.
2. Check that no one can enter the shaft
from the landing.
3. Go to the landing.
4. Release the stop switch.
5. Switch off the inspection drive.
6. Close the landing doors.
7. Check that the landing doors are
mechan
ically locked.
21 Go to the MAP. Open the MAP.
