8.2.4 Checking the air gap
1. Push the rubber cover towards the traction pulley.
2. Measure the air gap (X) between the armature plate and electromagnet with feeler gauge.
Air gap must be between 0.2 – 0.6 mm. If not, replace the brake.
3. Push back the rubber cover.
