8.2.3 Checking the manual brake opening device
1. Install the lever to the manual brake releasing device. (1)
2.
Open the brake slightly (2).
3. Check that the elevator moves by following the sp
eed LEDs.
4. Check that the brake resets correctly after the test.
5. Check that the elevator relevels after testing the manual brake release system.
WARNING! Do not keep the brake open for more than 1 second at a time.
