4. Select the Grid In icon to enable grid suppression ltering when using a grid, or select Grid Out.
5. Select the AEC icon and the appropriate Ion Chamber icon(s) in order to enable AEC phototiming.
NOTE: If APRs are programmed in Ultra, an AEC technique is set for the body part view. You can still adjust the
Density, kVp, mA and BUT for the current exam. Numbers that appear in red are set too high for your generator
and X-ray tube.
6. You can disable AEC by deselecting the AEC icon, to manually adjust time (ms).
