Send and pan settings
The parameters that determine the send level and pan to the master effects will differ depending
on whether insert effects are used (effect size greater than 0) or unused (effect size 0).
If insert effects are used
Effects are bypassed when Effect On/Off is set to Off.
For a program, set the send levels using Send 1 and Send 2 in the Program Edit mode P7 tab page
1. Set the pan using Pan in the Program Edit mode P5 tab page 1 (2) and P7 tab page 1.
However the send levels and pan of a drum-mode program are set in the two locations of Global
mode P5 (Drumkit) and Program Edit mode P7 tab page 1.
For a combination, set the send levels using Send 1 and Send 2 in the Combination Edit mode P7
(tab page 2). Set the pan using Pan in P1 (tab page 2) and P7 (tab page 2).
For a song, set the send levels using Send 1 and Send 2 in the Sequencer mode P1 (tab pages 3 and
4). Set the pan using Pan in P1 (tab page 1 (2)) and P7 (tab page 2).
If insert effects are not used
For a program, the send levels and pan are set by the Program Edit mode P5 Send 1 and 2 and Pan
parameters.
For a combination, the send levels and pan are set by the Combination Edit mode P1 (tab 2) Send
1, Send 2, and Pan parameters (pan can also be set in Combination Play mode).
For a song, set the send levels in Sequencer mode P1 (tab 3 and 4) Send 1 and Send 2. Set the pan
using the P1 (tab 1 and 2) Pan parameter.
