Exclude post-prandial periods
Selectthischeckbox(forinfants)toexcludetheperiodsafteramealfromthecalculationsofthepHresults.The
periodsaretreatedasiftheyweremarkedasanartifact.Thetotalinvestigationtimewillalsobereduced.Selecting
thischeckboxactivatestheexclusiontimelistboxinwhichyoucanselectthetime(inminutes)toexclude.
If you select this option, the Excludepost-prandialperiods setting on the Symptom tab automatically will be selected,
as well.
Exclude meal periods
SelectthisoptiontoexcludemealanddrinkperiodsfromcalculationsofthepHresults.Theperiodsaretreatedas
iftheyweremarkedasanartifact.Ifyouselectthisoption,theExcludemealperiods setting on the Symptom tab
automatically will be selected, as well.
Enable pH reux markers
SelectthisoptiontosearchpHreuxmarkersandmarkonallavailablepHchannels.TheplacementofthepH
markersisdependantontheExcludepost-prandialperiods and Excludemealperiods options being selected, the
settings that follow under Reuxdetection,andthepHtemperaturecorrectionoffsetpH7/ph4.01.WhenpHreux
markershavebeen(automatically)inserted,thepHresults(seethesection“pHAnalysisResults” on page 44) and
the symptom results (see the section “SymptomAnalysisResults” on page 46)arepartlybasedonthepHreux
markers.
