4.1.3.2 Installation of Column and the UC Arm Assembly
1. Clear the debris on the floor of the machine room to keep it clean and place the
equipment smoothly.
2. Take out the column and the UC arm assembly from the packing box and carefully
carry them to the pre-specified installation position.
3. Fix the frame base on the floor (cement floor) that correspond to the mounting
holes of the column. And use the supplied ground screws to fasten the column base and
the ground.
NOTE: At least two persons are required for the parallel moving of the column.
Be careful during the process of carrying, so as to avoid the frame colliding to
other obstacles.
NOTE: Two persons shall cooperate with in the adjusting operation, one for
adjusting, and the other for observing the level instrument.
NOTE: When fastening the expansion bolts, attention shall be paid that the
position adjusted in Step 2 shall not be changed.
4.1.3.3 Installation of Tube Arm
1. Take the tube arm out of the packing box, and pass the connection wire of SID
moving DC motor and brakes through the tube arm, and out of the outlet of connecting
plate of the tube holding hoops.
2. Then align the screw hole of tube arm with the screw hole of the frame, and
assemble the tube frame to the frame with four screws.
4.1.3.4 Installation of Tube and Wiring
1. Loosen the four fixed screws of the tube collar with a Phillips screwdriver and
