4.2.2 Detector
The detector has been system calibrated before leaving the factory and generally does
not require recalibration. For recalibration, please refer to the Digital Detectors and Image
Workstation part.
4.2.3 X-ray tube
NOTE: Disconnect the connection between the control box of flat-panel detector
and the detector first, and restore the connection after finished the tube training.
1) Keep the assembly under the 3mA tube current, and then increase the tube voltage
from 50kV to rating value. Note the speed of increasing should be smaller than 10kV/min;
keep the rating value for three minutes.
2) Pause for 5 minutes after unloading.
3) Select tube current and voltage according to loading characters, and use 0.1s grade
to expose from 60kV. Do exposure one or second times for each grade and then increase
10kV to expose until the tube voltage reaches rating value. Note that whether the tube can
rotate normally and cooling the tube one minute or longer between the exposure.
4) If tube current is unstable during loading, should decrease the tube voltage by 10kV
till the tube current is stable, then keep this status for two minutes and increase tube voltage
to rating value.
5) X ray source component in the system the machine directly from the beginning of
the (step 3), in the condition of photography, by 50 kV starting, tube current adjustment in
50 mA, 100 mA and 200 mA, until the ratings, time is 0.1 s, escalate tube voltage to 80 kV,
100 kV, 120 kV, and ratings.
4.2.4 Collimator
The collimator has been debugged before leaving the factory. It needs to be further
confirmed after installation and before use to eliminate the error caused by improper
installation. The debugging method is as follows:
