the column of the machine room, and install drawbar holder II to the wall with four ground
screws.
2. The intension rod has three segments, first of all, align the screw hole of drawbar I
with the screw hole of the connecting ear of holder I on the rear of the column, insert the
fixed pin, and tighten the other side of the fixed pin with nuts.
3. According to the distance between the column and the room walls, install the
drawbar II and drawbar III, and adjust the rod length according to the rotated depth, so as
to keep it suitable for the connection with drawbar holder II.
4. Align the screw hole of drawbar III and the screw hole of the holder III, insert the
fixed pin, and finally fix it with nuts.
4.1.3.9 Other Cables Connection and Layout
Sort out the cable pipes, and fix them behind the U arm and the column as well as
inside the wire ferrule under the tube arm. Adjust the wire ferrule so as to keep the cables
with an elegant appearance, but note that the cable pipes shall not hinder the mechanical
movement.
4.2 Debug instructions
4.2.1 High voltage generator and control console
(1) Verify that the high tension cable terminations are clean, in good condition, and coated
with vapor proof compound;
(2) Remove the dust caps that cover the high voltage terminals (ANODE and CATHODE
terminals) on the HV TANK;
(3) Connect the anode and cathode to the high voltage tank via HV cables. Make sure that
the cables are plugged into the correct terminals according to and coincide with the aligning
hole. Refer to cable vendor’s instruction for how to connect HV cable;
(4) Make sure that the HV cable connectors are tight and there is no play between the
connector insulator and the screw-down ring;
