1.2 Legal regulations
Lenze controllers are unambiguously designated by the contents of the
nameplate.

Conforms to the EC Low−Voltage Directive
9300 vector frequency inverter and accessories
Æ’ must only be operated under the conditions prescribed in this System
Manual.
Æ’ are components
– for open and closed loop control of variable speed drives with
asynchronous standard motor or asynchronous servo motors
– for installation in a machine
– for assembly with other components to form a machine.
ƒ comply with the requirements of the Low−Voltage Directive.
Æ’ are not machines for the purpose of the Machinery Directive.
Æ’ are not to be used as domestic appliances, but only for industrial
purposes.
Drives with 9300 vector frequency inverters
Æ’ comply with the EMC Directive if they are installed according to the
guidelines of CE−typical drive systems.
Æ’ can be used
– for operation on public and non−public mains
– for operation in industrial premises and residential areas.
Æ’ The user is responsible for the compliance of his application with the
EC directives.
Any other use shall be deemed as inappropriate!
