Why does color fade with fuzzy edges on Lexmark C920?
If the color fades with fuzzy, poorly defined edges on your Lexmark Printer, print a Menu Settings page to check supply levels. If a toner cartridge shows 10% or less, shaking it may help. Clean the LEDs with a lint-free, dry cloth. Ensure the LEDs are free to move upward and that the top cover is firmly closed. Also, ensure the absorption roll/charge roll on the belt is securely seated. Printing the quality pages in the Diagnostics Mode can help identify the problematic color. If switching toner cartridges changes the color of the problem on the test pages, replace the faulty cartridge.
