Using the MFP control panel and menus
Fax
Use the Fax menu, called the Fax Destination screen, to scan items and fax the image to one or
more people directly from the MFP. This is called scan to fax.
Note: Values marked by an asterisk (*) are the factory default settings.
Overlay Creates a watermark or message
that prints over the copy content
on each page of the job. As with all
watermarks, the word you select
prints lightly in large print across
the page.
The overlay looks similar to the
following on a page:
Off*
Urgent
Confidential
Copy
Draft
Custom
Custom is displayed only if a
special word is defined by a
support person on the Web
page.
Use the left and right arrow
buttons to make a selection.
Back Highlight Back and press
✓ to return to the previous screen of the first set of menu items for
the Copy menu.
