Understanding the MFP control panel messages

The system did not find any
shortcuts matching your entry.
Highlight Continue and press ✓ to return
to the screen before the search screen.
No stored fax numbers. You cannot perform a search
because no fax numbers are
stored on the system.
Enter a fax number manually.
Number of copies to
print:
The system needs to know how
many copies of a held job you want
to print.
Type the number of copies you want for
this held job and press
✓.
If you are printing more than one held job
at once, each job will be printed with the
same number of copies.
Only 1 FTP address
possible per job.
Multiple FTP recipients are
entered, but only one is allowed.
Retype recipient information.
PC Scan Mode The scanner is transmitting a
document to a host computer.
Wait for the message to clear.
Power Saver The MFP is ready to receive and
process data. It is reducing its
electricity consumption while idle.
If the MFP remains inactive for the
period of time specified in the
Power Saver menu item (45
minutes is the factory default), the
Power Saver message replaces
the Ready message.
Send a job to print.
Press any control panel button.
Profiles turned off by
system administrator
The Profiles function is not
currently available.
See your support person.
Programming Flash
DO NOT POWER OFF
The MFP is storing resources,
such as fonts or macros, in flash
memory.
Wait for the message to clear.
Do not turn the MFP off while this
message is displayed.
Queued for sending The fax job is stored in memory
and will be sent at the time
specified.
Press Stop to access Cancel Fax and
cancel stored fax jobs before they are
sent.
Ready The MFP is ready to receive and
process jobs.
Print, fax, scan, e-mail, or copy.
Receive Complete The incoming fax job was
successfully received.
No action required.
Receiving Page The device is receiving the
displayed page number of an
incoming fax.
No action required.
Remote Management
Active
All functions are temporarily being
handled by the remote server.
Wait for the message to clear.
Remove paper from
Standard Output Bin
The standard output bin is full. Remove the stack of paper from the bin to
clear the message.
