Electrical and power specifications
The following table specifies nominal average power requirements for the basic printer configurations. All power
levels are shown in Watts (W). Maximum current is given in Amperes (A).
Low-voltage models
• 110 to 127 V ac at 50 to 60 Hertz (Hz) nominal
• 90 to 135 V ac, extreme
High-voltage models
• 220 to 240 V ac at 50 to 60 Hz (not available in all countries)
• 198 to 254 V ac, extreme
Notes:
• Using a 220 V ac to 110 V ac power converter with the low-voltage printer is not recommended.
• Using an inverter (12 V dc to 120 V ac for example) to power the printer is not recommended.
• Only duplex models are ENERGY STAR certified.
