Programmer contact management
Programmer contacts need to be cleaned every 100 program cycles and replaced every 10000.
Post program PIC test
Following the programming, a processor startup check is performed.
Step 1: The programmed PIC is placed into a ZIF socket wired to an unpowered LogTag PCBA.
Step 2: 2.5V is applied to the +,- of the PCBA fixture.
Correct PIC operation is when the two LEDs blink alternately.
Step 3: Depower fixture and remove PIC
