APPENDIX 6: Logged Test Results file maintenance
All test results are recorded to log files so that the results can be tracked and viewed.
The files for each group of tests are stored in the location:
“C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\LogTag Production”
under subdirectory “Reports”.
The desktop icon links to this directory also.
All test results are logged to “LTL” type files which have a date coded naming convention.
For example, a stored file name of “Test-Setup (RS232) 2005-7.ltl” means that it covers production tests for
week 7 of 2005 for Test-Setup.
Before the commencement of a production run the production results files under the Reports directory
should be copied to an archive and the Reports directory cleared by deleting it. The production tests will
automatically recreate it to store new test results.
At the completion of a production run the contents of the Reports directory are ZIPed and emailed to the
NZ technical team for checking.
