Selecta System Components
Selecta is comprised of the following major components:
• a diagnostic slit lamp with parallel binocular optics and five-
position magnification
• an integrated Nd:YAG laser module that delivers 1064 nm and/or
532 nm wavelengths, depending on the laser model
• a remote control with an integrated liquid crystal display (LCD) for
operating the device
• a fixed, internal laser eye safety filter
• an electrically adjustable table with slit lamp power supply. The
table is available in two sizes: a medium-sized, wheelchair-accessible
table or a smaller, non wheelchair-accessible version that is
specifically suited to small offices.
• an optional footswitch, door interlock plug, and all the necessary
cables for proper connection and operation of the system
• A focus post for verifying the alignment of the illumination and
aiming beams at the focal plane.
