Adjusting Double-Knife Timing
D60 Draper Headers, 10.7 m (35 ft.) and smaller, with timed double knives, require that knives are properly timed to move
in opposite directions.
1. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
2. Open both endshields. Refer to 4.3.1 Opening Hinged Endshield, page 116.
3. Remove the knife drive belt on the right side of the header. For instructions, refer to Removing Timed Knife Drive Belt –
Right Side, page 168.
