7.6.1 General inspection
• Pay attention to any unusual running noises from the transmission and
power take-off.
• Check the transmission and the connections for leaks. In the event of
leaking consumables;
à Checking the transmission oil level, p. 7 - 43,
à Checking the oil level – power take-off, p. 7 - 44.
• Check if the heat exchanger or the connections on the Intarder are leaking;
à Checking the coolant level, p. 7 - 18.
• Check that pipes and hoses are tightly connected and undamaged.
If any damage is found, report it to Manitowoc Crane Care or an authorised
GROVE dealer or an authorised specialist workshop.
