8.5.5 Lubricating the turntable lock
Grease, tools
–Brush.
Prerequisites – The turntable is in 180° position and not locked.
– The main boom must be set down on the support; à Operating manual.
– The engine must not be running and must be secured against unauthor-
ised use; à p. 2 - 3.
Lubrication The turntable can be locked in 0° and 180° position. For this purpose, there
are two openings in the carrier.
• Clean the openings (1).
• Clean the pin (2).
• Apply new grease to the openings (1) and
pin (2) using a brush.

Risk of crushing at the openings!
When lubricating, your fingers may be crushed at the openings, if the turn-
table has been locked by a second person accidentally. The locking cylinder
then extends into the opening.
Secure the truck crane against unauthorised use, before lubricating;
