8.4.1 Checking the oil level

Prerequisites – The truck crane must be level and in on-road mode; à Operating manual.
– The engine must not be running and must be secured against unauthor-
ised use; à p. 2 - 3.
Check the oil level Always check the oil level prior to using the crane.
• Check that oil is visible in the sight glass (1).
• Always check the oil level for all the slewing
gears.
If the oil level is too low
• Top up the oil; à p. 8 - 20.
