7.9.3 Checking the tightness of wheel nuts

tools
– Torque wrench for 650 Nm (480 lbf ft).
Prerequisites – The engine must not be running and must be secured against unauthor-
ised use; à p. 2 - 3.
Checking the
wheel nuts
• Check the wheel nuts and pressure plates
for damage.
• Replace any damaged wheel nuts or
pressure plates.
• Check the tightness of the wheel nuts in the
sequence (1-12) – Torque 650 Nm (480 lbf ft).
