Autoholdcannotguaranteetheelectronic
parkingbrakeoperationinallcaseswhere
thepowersystemisturnedoff.Please
ensuretheelectronicparkingbrakeis
appliedandthevehicleisstablisedpriorto
exitingthevehicle.
Theautoholdfunctionshouldbeswitched
offduringtheuseofacarwasherfor
automaticcarwashing,otherwisethe
electronicparkingbrakemaysuddenly
applyandcausevehicledamage.
Ifthevehicleisrequiredtostopfrequentlyforlongperiods
whiledriving(suchaswaitatthetrafclights,stopona
slopeorstopandgowithtrafc),theAutoHoldfunction
canassistyouinstabilisingthevehicle,enablingyouto
removeyourfootfromthebrakepedalwhenthevehicle
isstationaryandtheAutoHoldactive.
AutoHoldhas3statesasfollows:
1Standby:
Withthedriver'sseatbeltfastened,thedriver'sdoor
closedandthepowersysteminREADYmode,touch
theAutoHoldswitchontheInfotainmentdisplayto
switchtheAutoHoldfunctionfromOfftoStandby
state.
2Parking:
Whenthevehicleismovingforward,pressthebrake
pedaltostopthevehicle,thenrmlypressthebrake
pedaltoswitchtheAutoHoldfunctionfromStandby
toParkingstate.
Note:Ifthevehicleisstoppedbyrmlypressing
thebrakepedal,theAutoHoldfunctionwill
directlyentertheparkingstate.
TheAutoHoldwillexittheparkingstateifthebrake
pedalisrmlypressedagain.
TheAutoHoldwillexittheparkingstateifgearDis
selectedandtheacceleratorpedalispressed.
TheAutoHoldwillexittheparkingstateifgearRis
selected.
3OFF:
T ouchtheAutoHoldswitchlocatedonthe
Infotainmentdisplaytoturnoffthefunction.
