STARTING&DRIVING
TheAutoHoldwillexittheparkingstateundersome
circumstancessuchasreleasingtheseatbelt,turningoff
thepowersystem,remainingstaticforalengthoftimeor
operatingtheAutoHoldswitch.Atthistime,theEPBwill
beapplied.
Note:TheEPBwillNOTbeappliedwhenoperating
theswitchtoturntheAutoHoldoffwiththebrake
pedalpressed.
Note:WhenthevehicleisinRgear,theAutoHold
functionwillnotbetriggered.
HillHoldControl(HHC)
HHChaslimitationswhensubjectto
adverseconditionssuchaswetoricy
surfaces,andthedrivermustalwayspay
attentiontothevehicleconditions.
DONOTexitthevehiclewithonlyHHC
applied,itmayleadtoaseriousaccident
whenHHCreleases.
Duringhillstartunderastop-and-goroad
condition,pleasesteponthebrakepedal
deeplyforseveralsecondsbeforeeach
start.
HHCassiststhedriverby'holding'thevehicleduringhill
starts.Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedal,theHHCwill
holdthevehiclestationaryforashorttime.
ThefollowingconditionsmustbefullledtoactivateHHC:
•Thedriver'sdoorisclosedandthedriverseatbeltis
fastened.
•Thevehicleisstoppedsteadilyonaslope.
•SCSisfaultfree.
