Ensuretheforwardcollisionsystemor
vehiclepowersystemisswitchedoffwhen
beingtowed.Iftheforwardcollisionsystem
isenabledwhenthevehicleisbeingtowed,
adverseeffectsmayaffectthesafetyof
yourvehicle,thetowingvehicleandthe
peoplearound.
Toavoidtheoccurrenceofaccidents,never
speciallytestthefunctionsoftheforward
collisionsystem.
Theforwardcollisionsystemswitchislocatedinthe
infotainmentdisplay.Enterthecorrespondinginterfacefor
drivingassistancetoturnthesystemON/OFF ,andmake
modeselection.
Alert
Whenthesystemdetectsthatthereisariskofcollision
betweenthevehicleandthevehicleinfrontinthesame
lane,warningswillbeprovidedtopromptthedriverto
slowdownintimeandkeeparelativelysafedistancefrom
thevehicleahead.
Emergencybraking
Whenthesystemdetectsthatthereisariskofcollision
betweenthevehicleandthevehicledirectlyinfrontofthe
vehicle,thebrakesystemwillautomaticallyinterveneto
deceleratethevehicle,soastoavoidcollisionaccidents
ormitigatedamagefromcollisionaccidents.Ifthevehicle
isbrakedandstoppedunderthesystemcontrol,itwill
remainstationaryforashorttime.Fullcontrolofthe
vehiclewillthenbereturnedtothedriver.
Thesystemwillonlyslowdownthevehicle
automaticallyifthefollowingconditionsare
met:
•Thedynamicstabilitycontrolsystem(SCS)andtraction
controlsystem(TCS)arefault-freeandON.
•ThevehicleisinDorN.
•Theairbagsarenotdeployed.
