temporarilycancelthisoperationbyheavilypressing
theacceleratorpedalafterensuringthatitissafeto
doso.
Theoperationoftheforwardcollisionsystem
maybeimpairedorineffectiveinthefollowing
situations:
•Thevehicleaheadapproacheshead-on,crossesthe
intersectionorjumpsthequeuerapidlyinashort
distance.
•Thevehicleaheaddoesnotfollowtherulesofdriving
andparking(suchasdrivesonthelanelines).
•Thevehicleaheadisnotinthesamelaneasyourvehicle
orthevehicleaheadispartiallyobscured.
•Thevehicleaheadisanabnormalvehicle(modiedor
abnormalshape).
•Thevehicleaheadisavehiclewithhigherchassis.
•Thevehicleaheadisalargevehicleatcloserange(such
astractor,trailer,towingvehicle,mudtruck,sanitation
truck,sprinklertrucketc.).
•Thevehicleaheadisunusualtransportation(suchasa
horse,cart,carriagesetc.).
•Thesystemdetectsthesideofavehicle.
•Thecontourofthevehicleaheadisunclear(suchas
waterbeingsprayedbythewheelsofthefrontand
surroundingvehicles).
•Thevehicleaheaddoesnothaveorhasobscuredtail
lampswhendrivingatnightorinatunnel.
•ThetaillampsofthevehicleaheadareallLEDstriplights
orotherhomemadecolouredlamps.
•Thestreetlightsareinconsistentorickeringwhen
drivingatnight.
•Thepedestrianisnotdirectlyinfrontofthevehicle,or
thepedestrianisnotfullyvisible.
•Thepedestrianisnotstandingupright,oritisachild
underacertainheight.
•Thereisagroupofpedestriansinfrontofthevehicle
thatisover-shadowedorinthedark.
•Thereareanimalsinfrontofthevehicle.
