Beforeroadtravel:
1.Usethelegwideningswitchontherightsideconsoletoadjustthewheelwidthtotheminimumwidth.Youmust
bedrivingthevehicleforwardorbackwardover0.8km/h(0.5mph)whenadjustingthetreadwidth.
2.Foldandstoretheboomsinthestoragecradles.Besuretolowertheboomscompletelyontothecradles,relieve
allpressureonthetiltcylindersbyholdingtherightandlefttiltlowerbuttonsonthejoystick.Thiswillallowthe
boomstorestcompletelyonthestoragecradlesandeliminateanyboombounceduringtransport.
3.ShuttheMasterOnbuttononthejoystickcontrolhandletotheOffposition(buttonwillglowblue).
4.Checktheservicebrakeforproperoperation.
5.Emptyallproductfromtheproducttankbeforeleavingtheeld.Donotattempttodrivethisvehicleathighspeeds
withproductinthetank.Fillproducttankonceyouhavereachedtheareaofoperation.
6.Turnonthehazardlights,beaconandtheroadlightsbeforeenteringontoapublicroad.Keepthemonwhile
travelingontheroad.
7.ASlowMovingVehicle(SMV)signisinstalledontherearofthesprayer.Checklocalrequirementsregarding
removalorcoveringtheSMVsignwhentravelingatspeedsgreaterthan40km/h(25mph).
8.Cleanoffallhazardandroadlightswhengoingfromtheeldtotheroad.
Theoperatorshouldalwaysbereadytousetheservicebrakeshouldarapidstopbenecessary.
Duringroadtravel,turnonhazardwarninglampsandheadlights,donotusefrontorrearoodlights.
NOTICE:Donottransportwithloadedproducttank.Transportwithproductintheproducttankcouldresultinprema-
turewear.
SlowingVehiclewithJoystick:Usethejoysticktoslowthevehicleundernormaloperatingconditions.
BrakePedal:Thebrakepedal(1)islocatedontheright
sideofthesteeringcolumn.Thepedalisusedtoslowthe
vehicletoasmoothstop.Thepedalappliesthebrake
toallfourwheelsandreducesthepropelcommandto
thehydrostatpumps.Ifthebrakepedalispressedmore
than65%oftravel,themachinewillcometoacomplete
stop.Returnthejoysticktotheneutralpositiontoreset
thepropelsystemandthencontinuenormaloperation.
Ifthebrakeispressedlessthan65%oftravelandthen
released,thedrivewillreturntothepresetspeedsetby
thejoystickandrangeselector.
Thebrakepedalcanbeusedinconjunctionwiththejoy-
sticktorapidlyslowthevehicle.
