Alwayshaveaqualiedtiremechanicservicethetiresandrimsonthismachine.Ifthetirehaslostallairpressure,
takethetireandrimtoatireshopforservice.Theuseofcorrectequipmentandcorrectprocedureswillprevent
accidents.Explosiveseparationofthetirecancauseseriousinjury.
Tireairpressure
Checkthetirepressuredaily.MILLERrecommendsthatthetiremanufacturer’stirepressure,asindicatedontheside
wallofthetire,bemaintained.IfyourvehicleisequippedwiththeMichelin®SprayBib™173LItiresthemaximum
pressureis441kPa(64psi).
Tireinationprocedure
Donotinateatirethathashadacompletelossofair.Ifthetirehaslostallairpressure,haveaqualiedtiremechanic
servicethetire.
Toaddairtoapartlyinatedtire,usethefollowingprocedure:
1.Useanairhosewitharemoteshutoffvalveandaself-lockingairchuck.
2.Standbehindthetreadofthetireandmakesureallpersonsareawayfromthesideofthetirebeforeyoustartto
addair.
3.Inatethetiretotherecommendedairpressure.DONOTinatethetiremorethantherecommendedpressure.
Tireinationexamples
Thisexampleshowsthecrosssectionofatireinatedfor
maximumloadbutwithaminimumloadonthetire.The
tiretreadisnotmakingfullcontactwiththegroundwhich
willgivepoorperformance.
