otherinjury.Topreventpersonalinjury:Relieveallpressurebeforedisconnectinguidlinesorper-
formingworkonthehydraulicsystem.Beforeapplyingpressure,makesureallconnectionsaretight
andallcomponentsareingoodcondition.Neveruseyourhandtocheckforsuspectedleaksunder
pressure.Useapieceofcardboardorwoodforthispurpose.Ifinjuredbyleakinguid,seeyour
doctorimmediately.
Failuretocomplycouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.

2.Turnofftheengine.Removethekeyfromtheignition.
3.Allowtheengineandsurroundingcomponentstocool
beforeservicingthemachine.
4.Opentheenginecompartmentdoorstoaccessthehy-
drostatlter(1).
Thelterislocatedontheright-handsideofthehydro-
statpump.
5.Thoroughlycleantheareaaroundthelter(1)before
removingthelter.
6.Placeacontainerunderthelterinordertocaptureany
escapinguids.
