Requirements
TheoperatormustmaintainappropriateDIESELEXHAUSTFLUID(DEF)/ADBLUE®levelsatalltimes.Noadditional
maintenanceisrequired.
NOTICE:Prolongedidlingofthemachinewithnoloadformorethan6hwillcausedamagetotheSCRcatalyst.
NOTE:SeeyourMILLERdealerforreplacementcomponentsandcleaningagents.

NOTE:BeforeremovingtheDEFtankcap,cleanthearea
aroundtheDEFcap.
NOTICE:IfanyDIESELEXHAUSTFLUID(DEF)/ADBLUE®
spillsorcontactsanysurfaceotherthanthestorage
tanks,immediatelycleantheaffectedsurfacewithclear
water.DIESELEXHAUSTFLUID(DEF)/ADBLUE®willcause
corrosiononpaintedandunpaintedmetallicsurfaces,
andmaydistortsomeplasticandrubbercomponents.
LocatethebluecoloredDEFtankllcap(1)locatedon
theleftsideoftheenginecompartmentcowling.Remove
thecaptolltheDEFtank.
RelltheDEFtankwhentheDEFuidlevelindicator
ontheApostdisplay,indicateslowlevelandtheDEF
levelpop-upwindowonthearmrestdisplayindicatesThe
pop-upwarningswillcontinueindicatingdifferentlevelsin
theDEFtank.Afterthetankisrelledthepop-upwarn-
ingswillstop.
Ifthepop-upmessagesareavoidedtheenginewillstart
toderate,eventuallytolowidle.
DEFtankcapacityis:91L(24USgal)
ReinstalltheDEFllcapwhennishedllingthetank.

ItisrecommendedthatDEF/ADBLUE®llingequipmentshouldbeusedhavingallnozzle/pumpwiththecorrect
lengthanddiameter,triggeredbythemagnetinthetankllerneck,andwithoverllowcutout.Thiswillensurethat:

Thescreeninthellerneckwillnotbedamaged.
•
ImpuritiesarenotenteringtheDEF/ADBLUE®tank.ThestandardizedDEF/ADBLUE®nozzlematchesthellerneck
diameter.
•
TheDEF/ADBLUE®tankisnotoverlled,astheDEF/ADBLUE®pumpwillstopwhentheDEF/ADBLUE®tankisfull.
•
DEF/ADBLUE®isnotpumpedinthefueltank,astheDEF/ADBLUE®nozzlecannotpumpwhenthemagnetisnot
sensed.
NOTICE:IfawarninglighthasbeentriggeredforloworemptyDEF/ADBLUE®,thesystemmustberesetbycycling
thekeyswitchOFFthenONafterrellingtheDEF/ADBLUE®tank.
