NOTE:Awater-in-fuelsensorisinstalledinthebottomoftheprimaryfuellter(waterseparator).Whenwatercovers
thesensor,theChassisMonitordisplaypanelwillshowawaterinfuelwarning.
1.Drivethevehicleontoahardlevelsurface.
2.Stopthevehicleandapplytheparkbrake.
3.Turnofftheengineandremovethekeyfromtheigni-
tion.
4.Allowtheenginetocoolbeforeperformingthemainte-
nance.
5.Accesstheundersideoftheenginebayarea.Unlatch
andopentheenginebellypandoorstoaccessthelter.
Theprimaryfuellter/waterseparator(1)ismounted
insidetherightframerailnexttotheengine.
6.Disconnectthewireharnessconnector(2)fromthe
sensorlocatedatthebottomofthelterhousing.Press
theretainerclipinwardandpulldownontheconnector
todisconnect.
7.Turnthedrainhousing(3)totheleftapproximatelyone
turnuntilliquidcomesoutofthedrainpipe.Collectthe
uidsinanappropriatecontainer.Disposeoftheuid
properly.
8.Oncetheuidhasdrained,turnthedrainhousingtothe
righttotighten.Reconnectthewireharnessconnector
tothesensor.

Checkengineairlters
1.Drivethevehicleontoahard,levelsurface.
2.Shutoffthevehicleengineandremovethekeyfrom
theignition.
3.Allowtheenginetocoolbeforeservicingtheaircleaner.
4.Accesstheengineaircleaner.Theaircleaneris
mountedabovetheengineinsidetheenginecowling.
5.Releasethefourlocks(1)holdingthecover.Remove
thecover.
