Theparkbrakeswitch(1)engagesthevehiclespark
brake.
Toapplytheparkingbrakepresstheparkbrakeswitch(1)
toengagetheparkbrake.Whentheparkbrakeisapplied,
theladderwilllower.

Theladdermaymovesuddenlywithoutwarn-
ing.Standclearoftheswingpathofthelad-
der.
Failuretocomplycouldresultinminoror

Todisengagetheparkingbrakewiththeenginerunning,
rstpresstheservicebrakepedalfullyandhold,then
presstheparkbrakeswitch.Whentheparkbrakeisdis-
engaged,theladderwillraise.Whentheparkbrakedis-
engages,theicononthedisplaydisappearsaswell.The
parkbrakeswitch(1)willturnfromredtoamberwhendis-
engaged.Enginemustberunningforladdertoraise
Anaudiblealarmwillsoundifthehydroleverismoved
fromneutral(N)withtheparkbrakeengaged.
NOTE:Hydraulicpressureisrequiredtodisengagethe
parkbrake.Iftheengineand/orhydraulicsystemarein-
operableandthemachinemustbemoved,specialproce-
duresmustbefollowedtodisengagetheparkbrake.See
yourdealerfortheseprocedures.
