Yourwarrantyrightsandobligations
CaliforniaAirResourcesBoardandFPTIndustrialS.p.A.arepleasedtoexplaintheemissioncontrolsystemwarranty
on2015through2017off-roaddieselengines.InCalifornia,newheavy-dutyoff-roadenginesmustbedesigned,built
andequippedtomeettheState'sstringentanti-smogstandards.FPTIndustrialS.p.A.mustwarranttheemission
controlsystemonyourenginefortheperiodsoftimelistedbelowprovidedtherehasbeennoabuse,neglector
impropermaintenanceofyourengine.
Youremissioncontrolsystemmayincludepartssuchasthefuelinjectionsystemandtheairinductionsystem.Also
includedmaybehoses,belts,connectorsandotheremission-relatedassemblies.
Whereawarrantableconditionexists,FPTIndustrialS.p.A.willrepairyourheavy-dutyoff-roadengineatnocostto
youincludingdiagnosis,partsandlabor.
MANUFACTURER'SWARRANTYCOVERAGE:
The2015-2017heavy-dutyoff-roadenginesarewarrantedfor5yearsor3000hours,whichevercomesrst.Ifany
emission-relatedpartonyourengineisdefective,thepartwillberepairedorreplacedbyFPTIndustrialS.p.A.
OWNER'SWARRANTYRESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Astheoff-roadengineowner,youareresponsiblefortheperformanceoftherequiredmaintenancelistedinyour
owner'smanual.FPTIndustrialS.p.A.recommendsthatyouretainallreceiptscoveringmaintenanceonyour
off-roadengine,butMILLERcannotdenywarrantysolelyforthelackofreceiptsorforyourfailuretoensurethe
performanceofallscheduledmaintenance.
•
Astheoff-roadengineowner,youshouldhoweverbeawarethatFPTIndustrialS.p.A.maydenyyouwarranty
coverageifyouroff-roadengineoraparthasfailedduetoabuse,neglect,impropermaintenanceorunapproved
modications.
•
YourengineisdesignedtooperateonUltraLowSulfurDieselfuelonly.Useofanyotherfuelmayresultinyour
enginenolongeroperatingincompliancewithCalifornia'semissionsrequirements.
•
Youareresponsibleforinitiatingthewarrantyprocess.TheARBsuggeststhatyoupresentyouroff-roadengine
toaMILLERdealerassoonasaproblemexists.Thewarrantyrepairsshouldbecompletedbythedealeras
expeditiouslyaspossible.
