willnotbecoveredforWarrantybyMILLER.
Purchasebiodieselfuelfromatrustedsupplierwho
understandstheproductandmaintainsacceptablefuel
quality.TheNationalBiodieselBoardawardsBQ-9000®
accreditationtobiodieselmarketersandproducersthat
meetstrictqualityandconsistencystandards.Biodiesel
usersinNorthAmericaarestronglyencouragedtopur-
chasebiodieselblendsfromtheBQ-9000®Certied
MarketersandsourcedfromtheBQ-9000®Accredited
ProducersfoundontheBQ-9000®website.
TheuseofbiodieselblendsuptoB5willnotvoidthe
MILLERwarrantyaslongasthefollowingconditionsfor
biodieselfuelhandlingandmaintenancearestringently
followed:
Biodieselfuelmustbepre-blendedbythesupplier.Mixing
biodieselfuelson-sitecanresultinanincorrectmixture
thatcoulddamagetheengineand/orfuelsystem.
NOTICE:MILLERmayvoidyourwarrantyiftheproblem
isassociatedwithpoorfuelqualityduetoimproperblend-
ing.Itistheresponsibilityofthefuelsupplierand/oryour-
selftoensuretherighttypeoffuelandblendisdelivered
andused.
Storage
Themachineshouldnotbestoredformorethan6months
withbiodieselinthefuelsystem.Forlongerstoragetime,
itisstronglysuggestedthatonlyregular#2dieselfuelis
used.
NOTE:Ifstorageforlongerthan6monthsisnecessary,
theenginemustberunonregular#2dieselforaminimum
of20hourstoushthebiodieselfueloutofthefuelsystem
priortostorage.
Biodieselishighlyhygroscopicandtendstocollectwater
morethandieselfuel.Thisincreasestheriskofalgae
andbacteriagrowthwhichcancauseseveredamageto
thefuelinjectionsystem.Keepthemachinefueltanks
andon-sitestoragetanksasfullaspossibletolimitthe
amountofairandwatervaporsinsidethetank.Drain
waterfromthetanksatleastonceaweek.

onTier4B(nal)andStageIVengineswithanexhaust
aftertreatmentsystem.

MILLERapprovestheuseofuptoB10onTier4B(nal)
andStageIVenginesonlyinMinnesota(orotherStates
&Provinces)wherethestatelegislationmandatesitsus-
ageduringthemonthsofApriltoSeptemberonlyandthe
statelegislationmandatesstrictcomplianceoftheB10to
specicationASTMD7467.TheB10mustconsistofa
blendofS15#2DDieselFuelperASTMD975andB100
blendstockperASTMD6751only.
