Make sure the Sanitisation Port Cap is tightened after putting in the
Sodium Hydroxide Pellets. Additionally, make sure that the UF Reject
Tubing is in a sink or drain and that it is fastened securely in place.
Remove the Millipak from the POU Dispenser.
Screw the Barbed Fitting onto the end of the POU Dispenser. Attach the clear Tygon Tubing to the Barbed
Fitting. Place the other end of the Tygon Tubing into a sink or drain.
While in STANDBY Mode, press the CLEANING Keypad button for about 2 seconds. The display will change
as shown here:
Wait about 10 seconds. The LCD will now prompt you to ‘OPEN THE VALVE’.
Open the valve by moving the POU Dispenser Trigger forward. Water will come out of the Tygon Tubing for
a while. A 421 minute timer will be shown.
Make sure the POU Dispenser Trigger is pulled forward. If this is not done, then the timer will not move from the
421 mn position.
Wait until the timer has reached 400 minutes. When the timer is at 400 mn it will ask you to ‘Close The
Valve’. Bring the POU Dispenser Trigger back to the upright position (the PRE OPERATE position if you were
using the system to get Product Water). The ‘Close The Valve’ message will go away and the timer will count
down from 400 mn.
